Graduate Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal
Vet Record Careers is seeking a Graduate Veterinary Surgeon to join Lake View Veterinary Centre, a group of small animal practices based in Northamptonshire (Thrapston, Rushden, Burton Latimer).
In this role you will work within a dedicated team (5 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, support staff) and handle a varied caseload with a strong focus on thorough case work‑up and continuity of care.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting diagnostics using our full range of on‑site facilities (digital X‑ray, colour Doppler ultrasound, K‑lasers, endoscopy, in‑house laboratory).
* Providing patient care and anaesthesia with advanced equipment.
* Patient follow‑up and client communication for long‑term care.
Qualifications:
* Graduate vet licence (RCVS).
* Interest in small animal medicine.
* Commitment to professional development and CPD.
Schedule & support
* 40 hours per week; weekday shifts 08:30 – 19:00, Saturday mornings on rota.
* Basic flat available above the Rushden practice for accommodation.
* Mentoring through the Graduate Academy and support from experienced clinicians.
