We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and play a key role in maintaining our commitment to a safe, compliant, and positive working environment across the Harbro Group of Companies.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across multiple sites — including production, transport, mobile milling, and retail — partnering with managers and teams to ensure our health and safety standards don’t just meet legislation, but set the benchmark for best practice.
What you’ll do
* Promote and implement the Group’s H&S policies across all business units.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, and teams.
* Lead accident and incident investigations, driving effective corrective actions.
* Maintain and develop our H&S Management System in partnership with site teams.
* Deliver accurate safety performance reports to senior leadership.
* Foster a proactive, positive safety culture and ensure audit readiness at all times.
What we’re looking for
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
* Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and best practice.
* Proven experience in manufacturing, production, or logistics.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
* Experience in agriculture, feed production, or related industries.
* Experience developing integrated H&S and QA management systems.
