Key Responsibilities of the Childrens Social Care - Advanced Practitioner
Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
Lead on complex casework and provide guidance to junior staff.
Develop, implement, and review intervention plans.
Offer expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies.
Ensure all work complies with statutory regulations and organizational policies.
Maintain accurate, timely case records and documentation.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvements.
Support safeguarding procedures and promote best practices.Candidate Requirements for the Childrens Social Care - Advanced Practitioner
Qualified Social Worker (e.g., DipSW, BA/MA in Social Work, or equivalent).
Significant experience working within Childrens Social Care.
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently.
Knowledge of current legislation and policies in social care.

Pay rate 27.03 PAYE exlusive of holiday pay or £34.45 LTD inclusive of holiday pay
Contract length: 24 weeks, starting immediately.
VCF approval secured for 6 months.
