About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled WebLogic DBA / Middleware Platform Engineer to join our business. This role is critical in supporting the modernisation of the Oracle APEX/ORDS platform while ensuring the stability of the legacy systems. You will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and maintaining WebLogic 14c domains, deploying APEX/ORDS stacks, and ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Provision and secure WebLogic 14c domain: Build, configure, and tune the new domain for ORDS 24.3 APEX 24.2, including isolated JVM and install paths. Deploy & configure APEX/ORDS stack: Apply correct JDBC, pool, static file, and schema connections for APEX; deploy ORDS and validate via /ords endpoint. Maintain operational continuity: Ensure Forms/Reports on 12.2.1.4 remain fully functional and untouched during APEX/ORDS upgrade. Implement OHS routing and failover tests: Configure and validate reverse proxy routes between legacy and modern domains. Automate and document: Create repeatable scripts and instructions for deployment, rollback, and monitoring.
