About the Role
Weâre looking for a motivated Account Executive to support our client work and work closely with Helen in a small, supportive team. Youâll be delivering PR and communications campaigns across renewables and other sectors.
This is a part-time role (3 days/week), with the possibility of moving to 4 days or full-time in the near future. Initially, the position will have a 6-month contract position, with the potential to become a long-term, permanent role.
Youâll gain hands-on experience across all areas of PR and communications, including:
* Leading on client accounts, managing timelines and deliverables
* Researching, writing and distributing press releases, blogs, social posts, and long-form content (e.g. thought leadership and reports)
* Supporting media pitches and building relationships with journalists
* Monitoring media coverage and preparing client reports
* Researching industry trends, competitor activity, and media opportunities
* Tracking campaign performance and sharing insights for improvement
* Attending client meetings and contributing creative ideas to campaigns
* Designing client-facing materials such as social media posts, infographics, brochures, and reports (a creative eye is key!)
* General client management and administrative support
Software & Tools: Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, etc.), Canva, Adobe Acrobat, Mailchimp, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Social Media: Familiarity with LinkedIn for research, networking, and content sharing is essential
Candidates Should Have
* Degree-level education in English, History, Marketing, or another subject with a strong writing and research focus
* Strong copywriting, communication, and organisational skills
* A creative eye and willingness to design social media posts, client reports, infographics, brochures, and more
* Familiarity with LinkedIn for research, networking, and content sharing
* A proactive, can-do attitude and team-player mentality
* Media-savvy with a keen interest in renewable energy, national infrastructure, planning policy, and the evolving media landscape
* Ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple projects at once
