Location: London. Role: History and Politics teacher in a leading independent school. Full time or part time (minimum 0.6 FTE). Fixed term 1 January 2026 to 31 August 2026.
Do you have a passion for life and learning? Our inspirational teaching team at JAGS is looking for a colleague to join the History and Politics department. Your dynamic and creative approach will help encourage and champion today’s young historians across Years 7 to 13 in this one of the UK’s leading independent schools.
Responsibilities
* Teach History and Politics to students across KS3, GCSE and A Level, including modules on Luther and the German Reformation, Tudor England, and other agreed elements.
* Contribute to enrichment and extension activities to build critical thinking, confidence, independence and a love of History.
* Collaborate with the History and Politics department to share best practice and resources with colleagues.
* Support the well-being and safeguarding of pupils; participate in the co-curricular programme.
