About The Role - Empower Every Learner, Unlock Potential, Shape Futures. Join us as a Skills Practitioner for a new and exciting digital campus. As a Skills Practitioner you will provide learning/technical support to staff and students within the Division and undertake assessment and quality assurance duties as required by the College and awarding bodies. You will liaise with internal and external customers/stakeholders as necessary, provide feedback to students to aid progression and achievement, and manage stock control including ordering and issuing supplies.

About You
We are seeking an organised and efficient member to join our team with excellent communication skills who can facilitate learners on tasks. You will also provide demonstrations in class to aid delivery of outstanding provision within EKC Group.
The ideal candidate will have recent industrial experience in creative industries and, ideally, experience of education or workplace training. They should be able to work with young people to help them achieve their potential in line with the Group’s culture and ethos.
Key responsibilities include upholding high Health & Safety standards in practical environments and purchasing resources within budget.
Facilities
The new campus will include Motion Capture, Virtual Production and Photogrammetry studios, a video/photography studio, post-production suites, classrooms and an equipment store. The successful candidate will help ensure facilities are ready for students and users, provide IT support, and act as a first aider (training provided). A willingness to train and learn about equipment is essential.
Site and Timing
As the new campus opens in January, you will coordinate relocation and ensure the campus is fully operational from day one. Initially, the role will be based at Broadstairs College.
