Job Description
The Mobile Facilities Assistant plays a key role within the Facilities Management team, acting as a central point of contact for day-to-day facilities activities. You will support contractor management, compliance tasks and site administration, while working closely with colleagues and stakeholders. This is a varied, fast-moving role that requires strong organisation, clear communication and a flexible approach to site-based work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support contractor visits across multiple sites
2. Ensure security procedures are followed on site
3. Deliver inductions for staff and contractors, including H&S
4. Log and coordinate reactive and planned maintenance visits
5. Monitor compliance with HSEQ and environmental standards
6. Support statutory checks such as fire safety and water hygiene
7. Assist with internal and external audits
8. Provide general administrative support to the facilities team
9. Support the Area Facilities Manager with regular tasks
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
10. Experience working in a facilities or site-based environment
11. Strong communication skills, written and verbal
12. Customer-focused approach to service delivery
13. Good organisation and attention to detail
14. Ability to solve problems and prioritise tasks
15. Comfortable using MS Office and digital systems
16. Able to work independently and as part of a team
17. Confident working in a fast-paced environment
18. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
19. Able to meet required security and compliance checks
