We’re working with a leading building services consultancy who are expanding their Belfast team and looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Your new role
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects from concept through topletion, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams. You’ll take ownership of mechanical design, contribute to project delivery, and support junior engineers within the business.
1. Lead mechanical design on projects from concept to handover
2. Work closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
3. Deliverpliant, high-quality engineering solutions
4. Attend site meetings, carry out inspections and review technical submittals
5. Prepare reports, design documentation and project updates
6. Manage project costs relating to mechanical packages
7. Support client relationships and project delivery strategy
8. Mentor junior engineers and support team development
9. Coordinate designs alongside wider engineering disciplines
What you'll need to succeed
10. Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a consultancy environment
11. Degree in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
12. Strong knowledge of HVAC, water services and mechanical design standards
13. Experience across UK/ROImercial-scale MEP projects
14. Proficiency in Hevp, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks
15. Strongmunication and reporting skills
16. Chartered Engineer status or working towards this
