Yard Operative (Temporary) – Eastbourne
We are seeking a reliable Yard Operative to join our team on a temporary basis in Eastbourne. The ideal candidate must hold a valid forklift license and have experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials around the yard
* Organize and maintain stock in the yard ensuring it is tidy and secure
* Assist with general yard duties including manual handling and site cleanliness
* Follow all health and safety procedures and report any issues promptly
* Support other team members with daily operational tasks as required
Requirements
* Valid forklift license essential
* Previous experience as a yard operative or in a warehouse/forklift role preferred
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work flexible shifts if required
* Suitable for temporary, short-term work
