Operations Supervisor Waste & Environmental Services
Location:Culham Depot, near Abingdon
Salary:£44,000 per annum
Hours:Monday to Friday Full-Time
Are you an experienced operations professional with an LGV licence and a passion for leading teams? Were looking for a hands-onOperational Supervisorto support a busy depot, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant service for local waste and environmental operations.
What Youll Do:
* Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly operations to meet KPIs and contractual requirements.
* Monitor safety and compliance through vehicle tracking, CCTV, and on-route crew observations.
* Ensure adherence to Operators Licence conditions, drivers hours, and Working Time Directive.
* Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and crew training sessions.
* Support management in improving productivity, resource planning, and operational performance.
What Were Looking For:
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Safe Systems of Work.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate operational teams.
* Good understanding of the drivers Working Time Directive.
* LGV Licence (Essential).
* Confident in leading by example and promoting a positive, safety-first culture.
