Overview:
Pallett Drive Day Nursery is a small, home-from-home nursery with an emphasis on staff wellbeing. We can have up to 28 children a day spilt into 3 rooms. Our days are full of fun, laughter and cuddles with the children truly at the heart of everything we do. We enjoy regular trips in our local area and further afield and it really feels like childcare should. No spending our whole day away from the children changing 14 nappies and trying to steal 5 minutes to work on your mounds of paperwork. We do a simple, weekly plan and let the children lead the rest.
Supported by a friendly and welcoming team, you will fit right in and begin building relationships with our wonderful children. We have a hands-on management team who truly care and want everyone to love their job

This role is 3 or 4 days 8:00am-5:30pm
Responsibilities:
-To contribute to the nursery's responsibility to safeguarding
-To plan and carry out stimulating, exciting activities based on the children's interests and next steps.
-Build positive relationships with parents allowing them to effectively communicate about their child's needs
-Have a small key group and be responsible for tracking their development
-Assist with daily care routines such as meal/sleep times
-Be an excellent role model for the children in our care, always modelling positive behaviour
-Have fun, inspiring interactions with children to spark awe and wonder in their everyday routines
-Understand and follow our policies and procedures consistently
-Work well with our wonderful, small team
Experience:
* Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Ability to multi task and
* Passionate about working with children and enjoy the joy they bring to your day
* Hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent
