Education Support Worker required on a permanent basis for SEMH school in Northampton\n\nAre you looking for a new permanent Education Support Worker position for this academic year?\n\nOne of our client SEMH schools in the Northampton area is looking to appoint an Education Support Worker beginning as soon as possible. This will be on a full time, permanent basis and the successful candidate will be salaried directly through the school.\n\nRole: Education Support Worker\n\nLocation: Northampton\n\nStart: ASAP\n\nContract: Full Time, Permanent\n\nSalary: £24,420 to £26,440 per annum\n\nThe school is a small independent special school located in Northampton, with class sizes of roughly 2 to 5 pupils. They are looking to appoint an Education Support Worker, who can provide individual support and supervision for pupils, encouraging their engagement in the learning process, working towards agreed aims and objectives.\n\nRequirements:\n\nExperience of working with children and young people\nAn interest in supporting pupils to overcome barriers to learning\nAbility to inspire, motivate and empathise with young people\nHigh levels of motivation, commitment and enthusiasm\nGood general standard of education to Level 2 including GCSE Grade 4 equivalent in English and Maths\nYou will be required to transport pupils so you must be able to drive and have access to your own car\nFor immediate consideration, please apply for this position using a copy of your most recent CV which includes your current employment and includes any employment gaps.
