All Healthcare workers provide an important service supporting the theatre teams within this busy and demanding environment.
To assist in escorting patients between wards/departments and theatres.
Cleaning theatre equipment, the operating room and associated areas.
Moving and handling equipment used by Theatres and Sterile Services to and from Theatres and other Departments.

Qualifications
Level 1 literacy and numeracy skill
NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
Experience
No previous experience, willingness to take instruction, knowledge gained through on the job training.
Ability to work in an environment with blood and other body fluids acting in an appropriate and supportive manner
Professional appearance and behaviour
Flexible approach to working hours and practices
Ability to treat all information confidentially
Ability to work within a team and take instruction
