Job Role: Service Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Bedford (Accepting Applicants From Surrounding Counties)
The package:

The Duties:
9. To attend breakdowns, service, maintenance and installations on an array of Commercial and Domestic HVAC systems, Eg. VRF, VRV, Splits, Cold Rooms and Chillers
10. The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills), Hot working tools (Brazing), Leak detection tools.
11. To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and repairs on HVAC systems inc. Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Panasonic, Fujitsu plus more.
12. To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
13. Dealing and liaising with clients to fulfil their needs to the highest of standards and in a timely manner.
14. Complete paperwork efficiently and report any faults found or rectified.
15. Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed.
16. Light commercial refrigeration in shops such as butchers, and other small outlets, to AC in offices, small business premises, and ducted systems smaller split systems in people’s homes.
17. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems and make necessary repairs.
18. Carry out functions tests to ensure that repaired, replaced or installed systems are operating efficiently.
The Requirements:
19. HVAC experience working with Air Conditioning and or Refrigeration systems (Essential)
20. A good level of electrical and ormechanical knowledge (Essential)
21. Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Advantageous)
22. F-Gas Cat 1 (Advantageous)
23. Experience using Hand & Electrical tools. (Advantageous)
24. Previous experience as a field based engineer. (Advantageous)
