Following significant investment in a new, modern production facility, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to support continued growth and strengthen customer partnerships across Scotland and the North of England.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Division, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join an ambitious organisation at an exciting stage of development. This is a field-based position with responsibility for managing and developing a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and grow sales within an existing customer portfolio while actively identifying and securing new opportunities
Take full ownership of customer accounts, ensuring a proactive and professional approach at all times
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Deliver and exceed agreed sales objectives and performance targets
Maintain high standards of customer care throughout the sales and order process
Effectively plan travel and customer visits to maximise territory performance
Manage and monitor the order pipeline to ensure consistent service delivery
Contribute positively to the wider sales strategy and team objectives
Person Specification
Demonstrable experience in a comparable sales role within a related product area
Confident and motivated with a strong desire to succeed
Ability to engage and influence at all levels, including senior decision-makers
Commercially aware with sound analytical and problem-solving ability
Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Reliable, adaptable and highly organised
Target focused with a collaborative approach
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
