Salary and benefits: Circa £40,000 plus excellent benefits. Contract: Permanent, Full time. Locations: Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Greater London, Central London, Warwickshire, West Midlands, Birmingham, Coventry, Worcestershire.
We have a brand new, fabulous opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join a leading Tour Operator. As a Product Manager, you’ll be key to the success of our client’s inventory, responsible for ensuring they’re commercially best placed in the market through effective sourcing and administration of their destination, hotel, and auxiliary requirements. You’ll ensure maximum revenue protection, process efficiencies, and drive excellence in customer service.
Previous experience in a similar Product Management role within the travel industry is essential. In return, our client offers a salary circa £40k plus excellent benefits.

Role of Product Manager:
* Maintaining relationships with suppliers and Tourist Boards.
* Monitoring competitor activity and pricing.
* Monitoring sales for preferred and key partners to drive deals.
* Negotiating exclusive offer deals, incentives, and marketing deals with suppliers.
* Managing the efficient running of all products within the department.
* Arranging and attending supplier meetings and liaising with the Training department for training requirements.
* Providing offer and supplier updates to sales teams.
* Providing holiday and hotel offers for marketing and liaising with Marketing/Aviation Departments.
* Following up with suppliers on day-to-day issues and complaints.
* Attending industry events on behalf of the company.
* Monitoring company websites and e-shots for accuracy and relevance.
* Overseeing loading/management of direct contracts into the company system and ensuring stop sales are up to date.
* Errata management.
Skills required for the role:
* Previous experience in a similar role in the travel industry.
* Thorough knowledge of product and industry awareness.
* Strong organization skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
