The Role
This is more than just a sales roleitsan opportunity to take ownership while remaininghands-on in the delivery of exceptional events. Youllbe responsible forgrowing revenue, building strong local relationships, and ensuring events run seamlessly alongside an experienced and passionate team.
As a Sales and Events Manager, you will be responsible forthe delivery of pre-booked targets and smooth organisation and running of the events to exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track recordin overachieving sales targets, promoting events spaces and supporting the operational running of the events. Experience in managing CRM systems and social media platforms is desirable. You will be responsible forliaising with both the team and customersso excellent customer service is a must.
Key responsibilities include:
Effectively executing the hotels sales and events strategy
Delivering pre-booked revenue and covers targets
Driving additionalbusiness through proactive outbound sales activity
Managing and maintainingsystems such as Collins, Atreemo& Tonic
Keeping accuratecustomer records and providing performance reports
Managing social media platforms and online presence (including website and listings)
Identifyinglocal market opportunities and key events to drive new business
Maximising conversion through timely, clear, and engaging communication
Creating and supporting the delivery of bespoke events throughout the year
Delivering excellent customer service across all touchpoints (in person, phone, and email)
Communicating effectively with all departments to ensure seamless event delivery
