With regulatory approval in both the UK and EU and the ability to support over 150 currencies, the company is well positioned as a modern challenger in payments and banking. Having achieved strong market traction and product–market fit, we are now entering a major scale-up phase.
Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional CEO to lead the organisation through its next stage of strategic expansion. This role carries full responsibility for operations, strategy, P&L, people leadership, and value creation. Key areas of focus include:
* Developing and implementing a three-year strategic plan to diversify revenue streams and prepare the business for future investment or acquisition.
* Leading both organic and non-organic growth initiatives, including identifying, evaluating, acquiring, and integrating target companies or assets.
* Driving operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability across all parts of the organisation.
* Working in close partnership with the current CEO—who will transition into a dedicated M&A and strategic investments role—to ensure a smooth handover and aligned execution.
Candidate Profile
* Executive leadership experience in payments, banking, or fintech (essential).
* A strong track record in business transformation, scaling operations, and leading companies through high-growth phases.
* Experience with investor relations, fundraising, or preparing an organisation for acquisition or investment.
* A balanced strategic and operational mindset—commercially driven, results-focused, and disciplined in execution.
* Openness to candidates currently serving as COO or senior operational leaders within larger organisations who are ready to step into a CEO role.
