We are seeking an exceptional clinical leader to join our executive team as Chief Medical Officer. Our Trust, formed from the merger of Kingston Hospital and Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare in 2024, is an integrated provider delivering acute and community services across South West London.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide senior professional leadership to our medical workforce across hospital and community services.
* Oversee clinical quality, safety and effectiveness, ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate care.
* Strengthen clinical governance and champion excellence in clinical care and innovation.
* Reinvigorate medical leadership at every level, cultivating an open, supportive culture.
* Lead medical education, research, and innovation, nurturing clinical talent and supporting digital health and new care models.
* Collaborate with primary care, social care and the wider South West London Integrated Care System to build seamless care pathways and address inequalities.
* Act as executive sponsor for research, education and digital transformation, ensuring a strong clinical voice in system-wide decision making.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
* Medical degree and board certification or equivalent in a relevant specialty.
* Substantial experience leading clinicians and improving care in a complex healthcare environment.
* Ability to influence and inspire stakeholders across hospital and community services.
* Strong systems insight and experience driving meaningful change on the ground.
* Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, inclusive leadership and continuous learning.
