Our client is a values-driven organisation based in central Reading. They are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor/Generalist to join their HR team for up to 6 months. Your new role
As HR Advisor, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of HR, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Managing recruitment campaigns and onboarding processes
2. Supporting employee relations, including absence management, probation reviews, and exit interviews
3. Coordinating payroll and benefits administration
4. Driving performance management and wellbeing initiatives
5. Supporting training logistics and learning & development activities
6. Maintaining accurate HR systems and records in line with GDPR
7. Deputising for the Head of HR when required
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience as an HR Generalist who can deliver in an independent manner across HR operations and employee relations
9. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
10. Excellentmunication, organisation and problem-solving skills
11. Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
12. CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
