Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting for Stock Condition Surveyors on a 9-month temporary contract with availability in the West Midlands & Derby. They are an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:
* £16.50 per flat
* £24.50 per house
* £27 per block
The ideal candidate will have a background in repairs & maintenance or building surveying and also have experience conducting Stock Condition Surveys on social housing properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
* Establishing condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components & also energy characteristics and legislative compliance
* Ensuring a timely return of all relevant documentation and managing own lists in specified timeframe
* Producing regular reports on handheld devices on applicable software
Experience required:
* Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
* Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys
