Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Hayes from September 2026.
This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career within education. The successful candidate will initially work through Teaching Personnel, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract directly with the school following a successful placement.

The Role Will Include:
* Supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Working closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom
* Providing 1:1 support for students who require additional guidance
* Delivering small group interventions and targeted support
* Encouraging student confidence, engagement, and independence
* Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies
* Assisting students with varying learning needs and abilities
* Promoting student wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people in any setting
(schools, tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, care or support work)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence supporting secondary-aged students
* A calm, adaptable, and proactive attitude
* Good behaviour management skills
* A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
