We are looking for a part time Senior Domestic Abuse Officer to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Overall Job Purpose
* Deliver Operational Management of the service, including implementing policies on domestic Abuse, and monitoring performance in the authority's response to this.
* Provide Customer focussed specialist advice on a range of statutory and non‑statutory services in relation to Domestic Abuse.
* Guide, advise and mentor other colleagues in this specialist area.
* To create, input and deliver policies on domestic abuse within the appropriate areas of the corporate strategy.
* To provide technical knowledge and input to corporate projects and strategic programmes.
* To play a lead role in the achievement of Arun District Council's Domestic Abuse Housing Alliance (DAHA) accreditation, project‑manage the process and engage with the wider partnerships to ensure the accreditation is achieved.
