Job Vacancy: Chef with Heart
Part-time: 28 hours/week, £14.06/hour. We are also considering a 14-hour/week role, including job sharing or an apprentice chef position (apprentice rate applies during training).

Your responsibilities may include:
* Cooking specials, soups, quiches, pies, and cakes.
* Preparing tailored meals for patients’ preferences and needs.
* Managing a lively lunch service with 40–90 covers.
* Assisting with afternoon teas, salad bar, and general kitchen duties, including washing up.

What we do
We provide specialist palliative, supportive, and end-of-life care for people with advancing illnesses and their families. Our main bases are in Ulverston and Barrow in Furness, with additional care in the home and community therapy groups.
Our services include a 6-8 bedded In-Patient Unit, Hospice at Home, Family & Bereavement Support, and Living Well Therapies. We are also a regional educational hub for palliative and end-of-life care education.
