Responsibilities
* To undertake teaching and learning related activities, including tutoring, as agreed.
* To undertake and support the delivery of to levels of Functional Skills and GCSE in Maths, English, Personal Social Education (PSE).
* To ensure that appropriate learning materials are prepared and assessments and assignments are undertaken in a timely manner.
* To undertake administration and provide reports and statistics regarding student and teaching matters.
* To develop curricula and learning activities, taking into consideration Maths and English development and equality and diversity.
* To participate in marketing activities and promote the College in a positive way for the purpose of gaining sponsorship, advertising, good public relations and increased recruitment.
* To participate in student reviews and other relevant meetings to manage the achievement and attendance of students.
Qualifications and Experience
Our ideal Lecturer in 14-16 Alternative Provision should have the below skills and experience.
* Relevant industry/subject experience.
* Working knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies.
* Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines.
* Innovative and creative in meeting the needs of learners.
You will be creative, experienced and passionate about working with these students aged 14-16 and have the ability to engage and encourage students to participate and develop new skills in an exciting and motivating environment, this may include the delivery of Maths and English as part of your timetable.
Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
Salary and Contract
£27,785 – £43,325 per annum. Permanent, Full time.

Brinsbury campus, Chichester College.
