We currently have several casual vacancies to join our team of Catering Assistants in Dunfermline and surrounding area. These are casual posts working as and when required Monday to Sunday during the day at nurseries, schools, Café Inc venues or Leisure Centre’s. This work is about providing customer service, in a busy catering environment Ensuring families using Café Inc are catered for accordingly - this involves preparing and serving simple meals, snacks and beverages or assisting with school lunches during term time. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate. The Person Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is essential. Being able to work in various team dynamics or working on your own and being able to use your initiative is advantageous. You may be asked to work at short notice. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
