This global 'sustainable water infrastructure' construction company is experiencing phenomenal growth and has exciting plans for 2025 and beyond. Specialising in water reuse, rainwater harvesting, flood & environmental protection, and drought mitigation, this company has delivered many incredible sustainability projects.
As a Business Development Manager / Key Account Manager, you will work closely with engineers, architects, landscape professionals, public health experts, water companies, highways authorities, agriculture, and house builders.
This remote role covers a territory from Leeds up to and including Scotland. It is not a targeted, new business sales role; an internal sales team will support you.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging, confident in presentations, and skilled in account management within the construction, engineering, environmental, and sustainability sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Development:
2. Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned with company growth targets.
3. Identify and pursue new market opportunities within the construction, engineering, and water sectors.
4. Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
1. Client Relationship Management:
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for additional work.
3. Act as the key contact for high-profile clients and partners, representing the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events.
4. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
