Role: Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Leeds Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am 6pm Salary: £48,620 - £57,200 RSD Recruitment are working with a leading waste management business to recruit a skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join their busy engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in plant maintenance, especially within heavy industry, recycling, or waste environments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance on a range of plant equipment including loaders, conveyors, shredders, balers, compactors and more Diagnose and repair faults in hydraulic systems and electrical looms Perform full mechanical and electrical diagnostics to minimise downtime Support installation and maintenance of machinery across the site Maintain accurate service records and report on equipment performance Ensure all work complies with health and safety and site protocols Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to improve reliability What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar role in waste, recycling, or construction sectors Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical diagnostics NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent preferred Familiarity with waste processing machinery (bonus) Self-motivated, safety-focused and confident working independently Ability to problem-solve under pressure in a fast-paced environment If you are a motivated individual with a passion for career development, we encourage you to apply for this exciting Mobile Plant Fitter opportunity.
