Quack Recruitment & Training is hiring a Progressions Officer to help learners successfully move into jobs, apprenticeships, or further training after completing our funded programmes.
Responsibilities for the Progressions Officer role will be:
• Provide one-to-one progression support to learners completing Skills Bootcamps and other funded programmes.
• Arrange and track guaranteed interviews with partner employers.
• Record and monitor progression outcomes against funder milestones (MS2 and MS3).
• Work with the Wraparound Consultant and Tutors to deliver CV workshops, interview preparation, and job application support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers to secure progression opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records on learner management systems in line with ESFA, WMCA, SYMCA, and other authority compliance requirements.
• Provide weekly reporting on learner progression outcomes to management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by feeding back learner and employer insights.
Requirements for the Progressions Officer role will be:
• Previous experience in employability, recruitment, careers advice, or learner progression.
• Strong knowledge of employer engagement and learner support.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to track multiple learners’ journeys.
• Confident communicator able to motivate learners and liaise with employers.
• Familiarity with funded training contracts and outcome requirements (Bootcamps, AEB, or similar) is desirable.
• Proactive, target-driven, and able to meet outcome KPIs.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
Pay for the Progressions Officer role will be: £26,500 – £30,000 PA
