If so, we'd love to hear from you for the role of Executive Assistant to the Head.

About Us

Our school is a happy, high-achieving independent preparatory school where curiosity is celebrated, good manners are championed, and muddy knees are worn with pride. Nestled in beautiful grounds, our community is warm, welcoming, and just the right mix of traditional values and modern thinking.

The Role

As Executive Assistant to the Head, you'll be an adaptable professional who plans ahead meticulously, but equally can think on their feet and use their initiative. * Acting as a key point of contact for staff, parents, governors, and external stakeholders
* Supporting the governance and leadership teams with communications and compliance
* Contributing to the wider life and values of the school

What We're Looking For

* Experience in an EA, PA, or senior admin role – ideally in a school, though not essential
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* A sense of humour, common sense, and the ability to stay calm when faced with unexpected challenges.
* A warm, approachable personality with a genuine interest in school life
* Discretion, diplomacy, and top-notch organisational skills

Why Join Us?

In return, we offer:

* A warm and inclusive working environment with fabulous colleagues
* Opportunities for professional development
* Beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities
* A strong and supportive leadership team
* A promise that no two days will be the same

About Brambletye

Brambletye

Lewes Road, East Grinstead

West Sussex

RH19 3PD

United Kingdom

Brambletye is one of the country's leading co-educational prep schools, with 270 boys and girls currently on the roll. It was founded at Sidcup Place, Kent in 1919 and moved to its present glorious location in rolling Sussex countryside on the southern outskirts of East Grinstead in 1933. The large country house, in its own wooded estate of 100 acres, overlooks Ashdown Forest and Weir Wood Reservoir. The school became a charitable trust with a board of Governors fifty years later, in 1969. The School has evolved from being a small, all boys boarding school to its present position as a co-educational day and boarding school. Boys and girls continue to go on to many of the leading independent schools in the country, such as King's Canterbury, Benenden, Charterhouse, Marlborough, Eton, Winchester, Stowe and Lancing .
