Maltby Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Careers Specialist to join our vibrant team as Careers Manager. Working closely with the Senior Leader for Careers and Personal Development, you will lead the delivery of an outstanding careers curriculum, encompassing high-quality work experience, impartial careers advice and guidance, and clear progression pathways, ensuring every student is equipped to make informed decisions about their post-16 and post-18 futures and empowered to lead successful, fulfilling lives.
At Maltby Academy, we place great value on Careers Education and Personal Development. Our current offer includes structured work experience placements in Year 12, with Year 10 placements scheduled to resume in the academic year. We also provide weekly Key Stage 3 timetabled electives every Wednesday afternoon. We are currently working towards achieving the Quality in Careers Standard, reflecting our commitment to excellence in this area.
