The Experis Academy for Babcock International offers an opportunity to be trained and upskilled to become highly skilled Change Control Specialists via the Train To Fit program. Our program develops talent to become permanent members of our industry leading customer communities.

We are looking for ‘future leaders’ who demonstrate the right aptitude and attitude, to be trained and developed to own and deliver projects in complex, ever-changing environments within our customer’s Nuclear Fleet Programmes at HMNB Clyde in Scotland.

Successful candidates must be commercially astute, possess strong numerical, analytical, planning and organisational skills, and be ready to develop skills in project management. This is a challenging yet rewarding role requiring outstanding decision making and problem‑solving skills.

Kickstart your journey with a 7‑week intensive training programme combining instructor‑led classes, scenario‑based learning, and practical workshops. You will receive best‑in‑class training within the project management framework, covering the full project lifecycle (scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resource planning). The curriculum also covers essential soft skills such as negotiation, presentation, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution, preparing you for a 12‑month placement as an Experis employee within Babcock.

Training will commence in August 2026.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

* Implement change management process ensuring alignment with requirements
* Ensure Performance Measurement Baseline reflects authorised change information
* Lead Change Management forums, capturing and progressing actions
* Assess impact of change and implement accurately into the Performance Measurement Baseline and Configuration Management Baseline
* Manage the project change register and impact assessments
* Process all change requests and associated tasks

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven confidence
* Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
* Forward thinker who pre‑empts potential problems
* Ability to navigate technical conversations
* Professional commitment to high quality and passion for learning new skills
* Eligible and willing to undertake SC security clearance
* Commitment to a comprehensive training programme encompassing classroom and on‑the‑job training

* Opportunity to gain highly sought project management qualifications (APM Project Fundamentals Foundation, APM Project Management, APMG Project Planning & Controls Foundation) with exam costs covered

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must already possess or be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role, as a minimum.
