What you need to do to be effective in this role Assist with the day-to-day delivery of projects. Build and foster relationships with clients and project team. Work closely with clients, assisting with the development of project scope translating the specific needs of scientists and researchers into a functional, compliant, and efficient physical layout working as part of a multi discipline team. Technical leadership for complex projects involving science and technology research facilities, such as R&D, clinical, or manufacturing laboratories. Liaising closely and collaborating with multiple project stakeholders and applying a deep knowledge of lab equipment, workflows, and safety standards. Identify and developing innovative solutions for project delivery Ability to lead project planning efforts, manage client expectations, and mentor team members Produce and coordinate reports to suit relevant stages of the projects Support the team in developing new business opportunities Attend, chair and record meetings as appropriate Own and manage the package management of specific science focused design packages to support the project team The skills and experience you need to have for this role Have a deep knowledge of life sciences activities, and understanding of science language and scientist engagement Excellent project management and task management skills. Ability to foster long term productive working relationships within multidiscipline teams. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills A comprehensive understanding of scientific workflows and the operational needs of various lab types Experience using Microsoft Office software and including excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project training will be provided. Experience of delivering presentations Excellent communication skills and willing to work as part of a close-knit team towards a shared goal We are looking for a team worker, who is outgoing, proactive, and personable.
