Our client, a rapidly expanding boutique investment bank, is looking for a driven Analyst or Associate to join their London-based team. The firm focuses on delivering strategic M&A and capital raising advisory services to clients within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sectors. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly within a dynamic and entrepreneurial setting, gaining direct exposure to senior leadership, clients, and active transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take a leading role in supporting and executing M&A and financing transactions across the TMT sector
* Conduct sophisticated financial analysis, including modeling and valuation techniques such as DCF, LBO, public comparables, and precedent transactions
* Develop pitch books, marketing materials, and presentations tailored for clients
* Perform in-depth sector research, competitive landscape assessments, and target company identification
* Engage directly with clients, investors, and counterparties throughout the transaction lifecycle
* Assist in mentoring junior team members and participate in business development activities
Candidate Profile:
* Around 3 years of investment banking experience, ideally with exposure to TMT transactions
* Strong academic credentials with a robust understanding of corporate finance principles
* Advanced financial modeling skills combined with strong analytical capabilities
* Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable working in a lean, high-performance team environment
* Genuine passion for the TMT industry and a keen interest in advising high-growth companies
