Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join us and be a part of our Property team. As Estate Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Management of leases, rent reviews, and general estate management tasks.
- Manage the relationship with the Port's Engineering (facilities management) team and it's appointed contractors to ensure excellent service is given to customers. Some building surveying, facilities management delivery experience desirable
- Manage delivery of the port advertising agreements
- Manage the aged debt for the property business
- Management of any statutory and lease compliance
- Manage the delivery of cleaning and waste management activities that affect commercial and residential property.
- Manage the process for Energy Performance ratings for both commercial and residential property and advise on changes to legislation
- Champion exceptional customer service, develop relationships with all customers with effective management of queries and complaints
Skills and Qualifications
* MRICS (Property Related)
* A minimum of 1-2 years PQE
* Some experience of building surveying and maintenance
* A proven track record of working with key stakeholders and property management
* Have the ability to identify new opportunities
* Demonstratable understanding of financial/budgetary implications
* Basic understanding of business rates and VO functions
* Good knowledge of MS office
* Have the ability to be flexible to work outside of normal office hours if required
* Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle

Salary: up to £50k DOE
