Locum Consultant in General Paediatric Medicine with an interest in Allergy
This is a full time 10 PA NHS post for a Locum Consultant in General Paediatric Medicine with an interest in Allergy.
Location: Services are provided on two sites: University Hospital Coventry and the Hospital of St Cross in Rugby.
Key Elements of the Post
* Expertise in general paediatrics, acute and out‑patient based.
* Deliver a Consultant of the Week service on the children’s inpatient unit and Children’s Emergency Department, 4 to 5 times in 12 months.
* Participate in the general paediatric acute on call 1 in every 6 weekends and 1 in every 12 weekdays.
* General paediatric clinics and ward rounds.
* Clinical and educational supervision of paediatric trainees.
* Enthusiasm and ability to participate in the delivery of medical education and audit within the department.
* Weekly allergy clinic.
