Static Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Trinity Fire & Security Systems is hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in Central London. In the role, you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients Gent Fire alarm systems, working mostly on a static site in Weybridge.

Salary
Competitive industry salary + uncapped commission scheme; no on‑call.
Responsibilities
* Provide maintenance and servicing of Gent Fire alarm systems.
* Carry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.
* Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
* Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
* Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule; issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations.

Gent, Notifier, Advanced, Protec.
Qualifications
* Experience in servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems to relevant British Standards.
* Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
* A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
Technical Knowledge
* Understand basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces.
* Comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of fire alarm problems, including recommending changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms.
* Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
* Manufacturers training with a minimum requirement of Gent equipment.
