In this role you'll be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of our clients' premises to the highest levels. As well as their own cleaning responsibilities they will ensure cleaning undertaken meets.
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to enhance our skilled team of operatives in cleaning at Cornmill Shopping Centre in Darlington.
* The experienced Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for all planning and preparation attributed to the day-to-day operation of the Shopping Centre cleaning.
* This also includes ensuring the cleaning team are trained and motivated to consistently deliver a high- quality service.
* You will help your team exceed expectations with regards to the cleaning of each common area within the shopping centre - ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business through cleaning standards.
* You will lead a team of 4 members, located in the shopping centre.
* You will manage and motivate your team to deliver and maintain the high cleaning standards set by the company and our client.
* You will be a self-starter and ambitious, with a desire to drive continuous improvement within your skills sector.
* You will have the ability to work well under pressure and possess a high level of organizational skills throughout your team therefore have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
* As well as having a high attention to detail, you will need to communicate with your team and Aston Services Group plus provide feedback to our customer on a regular basis.
* As well as have the ability to develop, organize and mentor your team to drive & repeat continuous cleanliness.
Minimum of 1 years' supervisory experience in cleaning and/or cleaning management role within the commercial sector or similar customer focused service role is desired, however, full training and support is offered at all times.

Duties also include: Arranging cover, supplies, training, on site support Lead by example on using machinery.
Monitor standards (electronically) and react to findings, plus report any issues to your Regional Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing and assisting with the cleaning of the floors, communal areas, stairwells, and washrooms areas.
* Managing a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, and performance and responsible for delivering training to all cleaning operatives and ensuring all records are updated correctly.
* Responsible for conducting cleaning audits on a Monthly basis and escalating any areas of concern for support from the Regional Operations Manager.
* Managing the ordering of consumables, updating the stock management system and also the distribution to cleaning cupboards.
* You will come into regular contact with customers/clients so it is important that you can assist them if needed and that you can communicate at all levels.
