Job Title: Quality Inspector (CMM Experience Essential)
Location: Blackburn
Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 45,000 per annum
Hours: 38.5 hours per week (half day Friday)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with strong CMM experience to support inspection activities in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
: Perform dimensional inspection using CMM equipment
: Program and operate CMM (e.g. Mitutoyo, Hexagon)
: Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD and T
: Carry out first:off, in:process, and final inspections
: Use manual inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, height gauges)
: Record, analyse, and report inspection results
: Identify non:conformances and support root cause analysis
: Work with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
: Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures
: Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives
Requirements
: Proven Quality Inspector experience
: Hands:on CMM programming and operation (essential)
: Strong drawing interpretation and attention to detail
