Join a leading telecommunications company as a Scrum Master !
Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Scrum Master to join our client’s Cloud Platform Team. The ideal candidate will empower their RAN Engineering teams. This role requires a "can do" attitude and positive energy, with the ability to roll up sleeves and tackle blockers and challenges directly.
* Daily Rate: £500 per day through umbrella
* Contract Length: 6 months
* Contract Location: Reading (hybrid – twice per week on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions.
* Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality work by monitoring progress, removing impediments, and optimising processes.
* Empower DevOps and Data Engineers, fostering a collaborative and effective environment.
* Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and issues.
* Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-groomed and prioritised.
* Assess the Scrum maturity of the team and coach them to higher levels of maturity.
* Actively engage in resolving blockers and challenges, not just as an agile coach.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
* Familiarity with RAN.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
* Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred.
* Positive attitude and "can do" energy, with a focus on team empowerment.
