Manufacturing Commercial Engineer Wolverhampton Precision Engineering £65,000 - £70,000 The Role We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Commercial Engineer to join our clients engineering team. This role plays a key part in supporting customer quotations, cost of sales activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will be responsible for leading estimating activities, providing commercial insight to support engineering functions, and helping to drive efficiency and best practice across the department. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure customer demands are met while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism. What will you be doing? * Preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for CNC machined parts and engineering projects. * Managing and coordinating estimating activities within a small, focused team. * Providing commercial support to engineering cost of sales functions. * Supporting new business acquisition through detailed and compliant cost estimates. * Working with supply chain teams to ensure materials meet customer specifications. * Reviewing cost of sales data and implementing ideas for future cost savings. * Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the department. * Assisting in the development and maintenance of process documentation in line with company systems. * Working closely with engineering teams to meet customer and business requirements. * Ensuring all work is completed in line with technical, quality, and documentation standards.
