What you need to know about the role
Reporting to the BOS Plant Manager, the purpose of this role is to lead and coordinate cleaning operations across our industrial site, ensuring that all cleaning activities are delivered safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage people, standards, safety and the environment while keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as key process owner, ensuring all process outputs meet manufacturing plans and business management system requirements.
* Work with site management, senior leadership, clients, and competent authorities to ensure all cleaning operations meet compliance standards.
* Maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with company procedures and legal requirements.
* Lead and manage a team of industrial and domestic cleaners.
* Support the operations manager with planning and delivering cleaning schedules.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency management.
* Proactively manage attendance and performance within the cleaning team.
* Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure standards are met.
* Manage cleaning equipment, materials, and stock levels.

* Strong leadership experience managing large multi-site teams
* In-depth knowledge of health & safety legislation and industrial cleaning practices
* Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and client contracts
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
