Job Description
We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator at our Bristol Depot.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Location: Bristol Depot BS11 0YW
Role & Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the daily driver briefings and debriefings, ensuring all improvement opportunities are identified and implemented through PMS (driver performance improvements).
2. Promote and embed the Müller safety culture through the use of STAR cards, conduct safety sweeps, and support all accident/incident investigations.
3. Maintain the site Run folder, ensuring all run changes are communicated.
4. Follow Breakdown management and recovery procedures for all MMI vehicles.
5. Control site assets (GKNs, trolleys, hand-held devices).
6. Drive operational excellence improvement initiatives and track their progress.
7. Understand and ensure adherence to all work instructions and SOPs.
8. Manage service level reporting, including customer service, shorts, and late reporting.
9. Ensure resource allocation is adequate, reviewed regularly, and all changes are communicated, with drivers complying with legal and regulatory requirements.
10. Own the site fuel master key and monitor all usage.
11. Coordinate vehicle servicing with the garage team.
12. Manage the Daily Tacho Master system, ensuring driver compliance with legal requirements.
13. Oversee trailer checks, including temperature audits.
14. Manage cross-dock operations.
15. Maintain AS400 housekeeping standards.
16. Promote Müller behaviors.
17. Manage 3PL relationships.

* 4 on 4 off Days (06:00-18:00)
