Production Planner Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) Location: Manchester Hours: Full-time The Production Planner is responsible for supporting the effective planning and coordination of production activity to ensure customer delivery commitments are met. The role focuses on building achievable production schedules, maintaining visibility of upcoming workload, and working closely with operational teams to balance capacity, priorities and resources. This is a key operational role supporting delivery performance, planning discipline and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities of this Production Planner role: Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time customer delivery. Support medium-term production planning, providing forward visibility of workload, risks and capacity. Prioritise work orders and release jobs to production in line with agreed schedules. Monitor progress against plan and support actions to recover delays. Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing teams. Maintain accurate planning data within the ERP/MRP system. Communicate changes to production plans clearly to relevant stakeholders.
