Job Summary
The TES Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology Research Assistant will assist in the collecting and analyzing of agricultural data, collecting data administered via a survey questionnaire, and analyzing data obtained from the survey.
AU students are not eligible for TES .
Essential Functions
* Conduct literature reviews
* Design survey instruments
* Communicate with stakeholders via phone
* Prepare survey instruments to be delivered via mail
* Work closely with guidance from Dr. Russell and other Agricultural Economics faculty in completing all outlined tasks
* Analyze USDA data to be used in preparing Extension publications

Minimum Qualifications
* Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
* Excellent creative, communication, and organizational skills
* Able to record and analyze data
* Dependable, self-motivated independent worker
* Ability to manage multiple products simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in rural sociology, agricultural economics, or agriculture-related degree program
Salary Range
Salary Range $14.00-$16.00/hour
