About The Role
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
This role is part of Singapore Airlines, Cargo Division (E-commerce Logistics) based in the UK and is responsible for obtaining new customers and fostering business relationships to increase revenue for New Business (Parxl) in UK & Ireland. The role will report regularly to the Head Office team based on Singapore. The ideal candidate should have experience in a sales position in the logistics industry and is experienced in selling e-commerce products and services.
Responsibilities :
1. Work closely with Head Office E-commerce Logistics (Parxl) team to achieve annual team and country revenue targets
2. Conducting market research to monitor, track and understand key competitor offerings and promotions
3. Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers
4. Manage a healthy sales pipeline of potential customers and convert to new customer accounts
5. Conduct sales presentations and participate in RFQ (where applicable) to convert qualified leads
6. Preparation and maintaining of documents and presentations, quotations, customer contracts, pipeline, sales reports, invoices etc
7. Work closely with Head Office team to propose solutions which are aligned with internal operational required and customer's needs
8. Work closely with Head Office team to formulate and execute country’s marketing plans and campaigns
9. Responsible for smooth on-boarding of customers/key accounts (i.e. including but not limited to IT integrations, operations set-up, reporting structure, etc.)
10. Regular monitoring of key customer accounts and performance to drive revenue and sales
11. Account management and serving of customer accounts for exceptions handling and investigation reporting
12. Contribute ideas and work with Head Office team to improve business offering and value to customers
13. Act as the point of contact for operations for new business in the country (where needed)
About You
Required Skills:
14. Prior experience and/or keen understanding of E-commerce and Logistics industry preferred
