Contract Software Developer - Full Stack (Azure, C# & React)
Location : Leeds / UK Remote – Flexible Hybrid
Duration : 6 months initially
Contract Type : OUTSIDE of IR35, Full time hours (37.5 per week)

The Tech Stack
Backend : C#, .NET, Azure
Frontend : JavaScript / TypeScript with React
Database : SQL (queries, views, and stored procedures)
Infrastructure : CI / CD pipelines and application architecture
The Role
You'll be working in an agile development team on systems within the financial services sector. The team are developing high-quality applications with a focus on data integrity, compliance, and scalability. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Contract Developer with an understanding of modern best-practice software engineering and experience in regulated environments.
What You'll Be Doing
* Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C#, .NET, and Python
* Build responsive front-end solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript (React)
* Create reliable data solutions by writing and optimising SQL queries, views, and stored procedures
* Work hands-on with development teams, reviewing code quality and maintaining architectural standards
* Support CI / CD processes, release pipelines, and coding best practices
* Engage with business stakeholders to determine technical requirements (Bonus if you have experience of core banking platforms)
* Contribute to systems supporting KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance processes
The contract is an initial 6-month engagement working with this Yorkshire based team (must be UK based for weekly onsite visits), with strong potential to extend or transition to a permanent role.
