Job Description
This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting April 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, creative business as a Finance Assistant. You’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function reporting to the Finance Director. The position offers hybrid working (3 days in the office and 2 from home) and is based in a central West End location, placing you at the heart of a vibrant and collaborative working environment.Key duties:
* Prepare and issue detailed talent statements, including fees, VAT, expenses, and commission calculations
* Reconcile client payments and ensure accurate distribution of funds to talent
* Manage and execute payment runs in line with cleared funds
* Raise and issue invoices to clients across a variety of projects
* Proactively manage the sales ledger and chase outstanding payments
* Resolve billing queries with clients and internal stakeholders
* Perform daily bank postings and reconciliations
* Accurately allocate incoming payments to campaigns, projects, and individuals
* Act as a key finance contact for internal teams, providing updates on payments and balances
* Handle queries from external stakeholders with professionalism and discretion
* Process supplier invoices, expenses, and company card transactions
* Monitor and manage the shared finance inbox
Key skills:
* Previous experience in aa Finance Assistant role
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* A background within a Creative industry is highly desirable
* Strong Excel skills and experience with Netsuite is a bonus!
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Confident communicator, able to manage relationships and handle payment discussions professionally
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
