Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor – Leeds
Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: February 2026
End Date: September 2026 (with a possible extension to December 2026)
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the project during the PCSA stage
* Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
* Pricing work packages across the project
* Working closely with the Commercial Lead on contract matters
Ideal Candidate
* Will have extensive experience working on projects during the PCSA stage
* Proven background working on large-scale construction projects
* Strong understanding of commercial management and cost control
* Experience with package pricing, procurement, and contract administration
* Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
* Confident working closely with senior stakeholders and commercial leads
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Able to work independently in a freelance capacity and add value from day one
